Let's face it. It's all about Great Danes! The 2010 National Specialty is a fabulous chance to do what we enjoy most - spend time with our Danes and with other Dane lovers. In addition to the show and events, you will have the opportunity to network and build relationships with other owners, breeders, judges, and handlers from all across the nation and world. You won't just share ideas; you will inspire each other and learn more about the breed than you ever thought possible. At this National - don't just think GREAT when you think of our dogs. The hotel and show site are all spacious with plenty of grass, RV space, and parking outside. And it is just as spacious inside with lots of crating space, vendor booth space, large show rings, and seating areas. The overflow hotels are quite nice, reasonably priced, and with 2 miles of the show site. Please join us for the 2010 Great Dane National Specialty in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where Danes will Reign.

Dear Division,
WOW! We are only a few months away from our 2010 National Kick Off. I can hardly wait. Things are really moving along!!! Our next meeting will be during the Oklahoma City Shows over the 4th of July weekend. The shows will run from Thursday July 1 through Sunday July 4th at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Our South Central Division meeting will be at Brian and Donna January's home on Saturday the 3rd at 5:00 p.m. The Great Dane Club of Oklahoma's open house is that same evening; same place. I hope you can all come. I hear that great things are happening with decorations and the Theme Party! We will have lots of good food and the GDCOK will have a raffle. This is also a wonderful way to support the GDCOK as our newest division member.
Our next after OKC will be in Pine Bluff during the weekend of the Little Rock Shows, August 14th and 15th. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to see the site and check everything out. We will meet Saturday evening after the Little Rock Shows (August 14th) at the Pine Bluff Ramada Inn at 6:00 pm in one of their meeting rooms. I will be there all day on Friday as well to visit with the hotel and convention staff. Anyone who would like to join me on that day is welcome.
